I’m retired from the computer industry in Silicon Valley and am busier now than when I was working. Really. I had this websiteup for years until the hosting service on Yahoo changed all their code. Rebuilding it is a time consuming pain, cut me some slack. I want to help you do the hike safelty. Education, preparation and motivation – that’s all you need.
I didn’t start out wanting to write a book – but I craved more information – and there was no book on the Half Dome hike – only 2 pages max in guide books. So I self-published one. Then got accepted by Wilderness Press for the “real” book. It’s now in it’s second edition – with 20,000 copies sold. Neat – a publshed author. Amazon has it for the list price of $14.95…but try the Kindle version…it has the photos in color.
