If you are a regular reader you may recall a review I did one a pair of Cadence Insoles for my Half Dome hiking boots. See <HERE>
In full disclosure, I was given an evaluation pair of inserts to test. Wow, they were great. I don’t endorse many products but if I like them – I do not hesitate in recommending. These inserts are like walking on a pillow-top mattress. My last Half Dome hike was way easier than previous ones with these insoles. I’ve noticed that most of the insoles you see at stores are hard. They seem to be more concerned with stabilizing the foot than cushioning the strike. Cadence does both really well.
Cadence is a small business run by a Physical Therapist from Southern California. I met them at the Wildflower Triathlon months ago. As we talked, I thought it would be beneficial to offer these insoles to my readers. The 16-mile Round Trip hike up Half Dome is grueling enough without foot issues. He decided to not only put an ad on my blog to help me generate income to help buy kibble for our 6-pound Yorkie, Yosey (as in Yosemite), but to offer a 10% discount to anyone who used the order code MRHALFDOME. You can see his ad off to the right. Click on the image to go to the Cadence.com website. As a start-up company, they are not yet in the big stores, but should be!! Try them and let me know how you like them. A hiking mate, Jeanne, ordered hers and loves them. She’ll be doing the High Sierra Camps in August and is getting all her ducks in a row now.
Welcome Cadence!
