OK, January is the month “fer sher” that we will learn of the candidate alternatives for the solution to the Cables morass. I hope to Zeus that you have got your accommodations all lined up. Really – they may be all booked – one year in advance for rigid and 6 months for tenting.
The Tioga Road and Glacier Point Roads remain open! This is the latest the Tioga Road has been open in the park’s history. The previous record was January 1st, set during the 1999-2000 winter. The historical average closing date is November 1st. Yikes the old Global warming thingee?? Snowpack is about 35% of normal.
