Yosemite hosts public forum on important Sierra Nevada issues

Yosemite National Park brings in to-notch speakers to inform the public on the status of topics affecting the long term health of the mountain range known as the Sierra Nevada. They are the highest mountains in the lower 48. (Thanks to Mt Whitney at 14,500.)

Speakers from Universities talk about the effects of weather, climate change, flora and fauna.  Lectures are noon-1 pm on the second Tuesday of the month at the Valley Visitor Center Auditorium. First come seating. No tickets or registration needed.

The program runs every month in 2015. If yo are at the park, cool off for an hour.

Here is the schedule and topics. Click to read.
