I can highly recommend you attend the Annual Yosemite Conservancy “Spring Gathering” at the park. It is open to all donors who have given $25 or more. You can still attend and pony up there. It is well worth it. Once you donate, then the cost is $100 for the weekend. You need to secure your own room.
What do you get? The registration fee includes Saturday programs, guided hikes and walks, lunch, project tours and afternoon reception. As a bounus I will be giening a walk and talk to chat about the History of Half Dome and all you ever wanted to know abou it.
