Well, that title is a big come on. There are not any statistics out yet. No one fell off of Half Dome this summer. Permits worked again. The Wilderness Office told me they are compiling the hiker stats for the Half Dome Experience…but they do not have a priority on it. As soon as it’s done, I’ll let you know. Basically, about 40,000 people could have gone up. The park will produce pie charts, bar graphs and some linear transcendental Rohr Theorum regressions.
Kyle Williams of Walnut Creek ran the Half Dome trail in 2:23:51. The new record!! I plan to interview him over his Thanksgiving break from UCLA.
I see that a neighbor of mine turned on his Christmas lights….actually, they have been up on his gutter since last year. Anywho, now I have carte blanche to promote my book. What a great gift idea! If you have it, you know the quality writing inside.
If you know any friends who sleep under the freeway, they can read a page, then burn it for heat!! :>). Write me and I’ll sign it for you….in five years, it will be worth half!
