Yosemite 150th Anniversary film at Sports Basement, San Francisco | Half Dome tips after showing

June 19 at 6:30

I’ll be MC-ing the screening of the great Ken Burns / Dayton Duncan film highlighting the signing of the Yosemite Grant in 1864. This is a hard film to get to view.

The DVD is out, but only for sale in-person at the Yosemite Conservancy in-park stores. No on-line orders.

You must register prior.

Come and marvel at some inspiring shots of the Park and Half Dome. I’ll be giving Half Dome hiking tips after the film. It’s FREE with FREE snacks & drinks.

The store is in the Presidio/Marina area of SF. Set SIRI/GPS for 610 Old Mason Street.

Unrelated thought worth quoting: “Keep close to Nature’s heart…and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.”
