The History of Half Dome
Wed August 21
12:02 pm Pacific time
You are invited to a webinar I am hosting on Wednesday August 21 noon. (Bring a lunch & listen.)
I will tell you about how humans first got up to the top. The Indians tried, the early mountaineers tried, but it took a Scotsman to grind it out and reach the summit. It was not until over 40 years later that the cables were erected. But what happended in the interim? Who were the first “tourists” up? Many “interesting” hikes to the top were done. I’ll share all this. I read the books – now you can get it all in an hour.
I’ve been getting many general Half Dome questions into my email box and will set aside plenty of time to answer any and all questions you have. The fee for all this knowledge is less than a latte & muffin. $8.00 for first time webinar participants and HALF OFF for repeaters. I know who attended, so go for it. Feed your brain, not your belly. And as usual, any Active Duty Military, Reserve, National Guard and Veteran can attend FREE.
If you can’t attend, go ahead and register and I will send you the recorded session link so you can wathc it in bed. I send all attendees a PDF of the questions/answers.
Teaser – I will begin a series of webinars on the other hikes at Yosemite e.g. Clouds Rest, Yosemite Falls, North Dome, etc.
Please send payment to my PayPal Account: firstname.lastname@example.org (use PayPal.com – you do not need an account and you can charge to a credit card.) Upon my notification by PayPal, I will send you the link.
Questions on the webinar to: MrHalfDome@gmail.com NOT wcbelew@gmail as your confirmation states. He is my admin.
