The Half Dome Hike – All of it

1 hour webinar

Sunday, May 19
     7:02 pm Pacific time

You are invited to a webinar I am hosting on Sunday, May 19 at 7:02 pm Pacific time. I will go over the entire hike up to Half Dome (and back). If you are planning to do the hike, this will orient you to what the hike “is like.” I will pull from my gigabytes of photos to show you what to expect. I’ll point out Points of Interest and secrets most people don’t know. Half Dome repeaters should also attend to refresh their memories (sunrise hike next?). We will have a Q&A at the end.

We will be using GoToMeeting. To help defray the costs of this webinar, I am asking $8.97 to attend = a latte & muffin. Feed your brain, not your belly. Any Active Duty Military, Reserve, National Guard, Veteran or Retired Military can attend FREE.

Please send payment to my PayPal Account:
(Use – you do not need an account and you can charge to a credit card.) Upon my notification by PayPal, I will send you the link.

Questions on the webinar: NOT as your confirmation states. He is my admin.

Carpe Diem!

Any estimate on when it might be reopened? I’ll also check your website and others for details.

  2. rick says:

Due to a rockfall Saturday May 11, the John Muir Trail is currently closed from the junction with the Mist Trail (just above Vernal Fall footbridge) to Clark Point. The John Muir Trail remains open between Clark Point and Nevada Fall and can be accessed from the Mist Trail. So his means that everyone will have to take the Mist Trail up/down on their Half Dome hike.
