The Rim fire is spreading out of control

The Rim fire near Yosemite continues to burn out of control. It is spreading both northwest and east. Inciweb is the inter-agency system that tracks fire-related incidents, specifically wildland fires. They report that it has crossed the western boundary of Yosemite. Camp Mather is in its line. Over 100,000 acres now black. 4500 structures are at risk. It is travelling up the Tuolumne River Canyon and Hetch Hetchy is of concern. Highway 120 is closed four miles west of the Groveland Ranger Station and four miles east of Buck Meadows. Ferretti Road near the Pine Mountain gated home complex has been ordered evacuated. The road is now closed. Evacuations are happening. Groveland businesses are open but seeing few customers. Winds are from the west at 6-12 mph. Humidity is 39-51%.
