I rolled into the park about 4 pm today. Took 4 hours from San Jose-by-the-sea via Paso Robles and Merced. It looks like the water flow is subsiding a bit. The falls look a tad less than 2 weeks ago. Still nasty white water. I need to recheck some GPS mark non the Half Dome hike. I will be putting the long / lat of the Points of Interest in the FREE app soon. You can view it on your PC even if you don’t intend to download it to a phone. It also comes up on iPad and iTouch, although Everytrail does not support those platforms officially. Works on both iPhone and Android. Thanks for the comments I’ve gotten. I love the feedback – hey, the price is right as in F R E E. Also thanks for the input on typos. A special tip of the hat to Monique A. for her comments.

Since I am going to be hard core hiking, there will be no blog Saturday night. Read some John Muir instead!!
