A break today from hiking to remember Pearl Harbor. In 1941, Japan sent a force of six carriers and 423 aircraft from 230 miles north of Oahu. When it was over, the U.S. lost 2403 killed in action. At the end of World War 2 in 1945, over 60 million people had died. 418,000 were Americans.
