Must watch TV

Half  Dome – Yosemite Musing
The Ken Burns National Parks extravaganza was a huge success.  I got a good dose of Yosemite – but it was not enough. If you are getting burned out watching the Olympics this week, let me point you to some VERY entertaining television. If you are anywhere near the San Francisco Bay Area, you are indeed lucky for many reasons … best of all you may be able to pick up the Tri-Valley Community Television channel on your cable. I’m taking Livermore, Pleasanton, San Ramon and Dublin, CA. TV28, TV29 and TV30 or on the ATT U-Verse Channel 99. Showing this week on M-W-F at 6 am, 12:30 pm & 8:30 pm you can watch the Conversations with Robin Fahr show. What’s the big deal? Why Mr. Half Dome himself will be interviewed. In the 15-minute segment, we discussed the summer of 2009 falls off the Half Dome cables and the new permit system. If you can’t pick up these stations – you want watch the live-streaming video simulcast on your computer via http://www.tri-valleytv.org/index.html.  TV worth watching!!   Snce it’s still the weekend, and I want to keep things light, here’s another tongue in cheek cartoon on the cables permit system by “Corniss Chopper.”
