Remember the Merced River Plan? AKA MRP.
Should have been out this summer…then December…now it looks like Merced Wild and Scenic River Final Comprehensive Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement (say that 3 times) will be released later this month. The park will go over it at an Open House on March 6. Yall come now.
Usually on most projects, the public can get either a PDF copy or a real paper one. If it’s going to be like most other plans … look for 5 telephone book sized documents. Whew. Brew some coffee and have at it. How about summarizing it for the rest of us?
When I find out more, I’ll let you know. Updates at the Permits webinar on Feb 13. Register soon, GoToWebinar has limited seats. Permit lottery is in March. Don’t miss out this year.
