Half Dome trinket

Half  Dome – Yosemite Musing
I’m a sucker for anything with the Half Dome logo on it. This one I found is pretty neat.

A company called Hike America out of Redwood City, CA has a nice catalog of National Park stuff.  They specialize in souvenir medallions for hiking staffs. I’d never use a Moses type hiking stick – they make you torque your body leading to back pain over time – and they are heavy. Look what it did to Moses! I believe in using Trekking Poles for my hikes. Their item YO-3 in the Yosemite section is kinda cool. A small medal Half Dome image that you can attach to one of your trekking poles with Gorilla Glue. Just bend it to the curve of the pole and you are good to go. You will be the envy of flatlanders in your neighborhood. They are only $3.60 each.  To see their website click <HERE>.
Unrelated thought worth quoting: “In the year 2525, if man is still alive. If woman can survive they may find. In the year 3535 ain’t gonna need to tell the truth, tell no lies. Everything you think, do, or say is in the pill you took today” –  Zager and Evans
