Things are pretty mellow on hump day. There’s been no major rockfalls or other disasters at the park lately. Chance of light snow so carry chains. They are required to be in your car in Yosemite until the end of April, so take heed. Don’t chance it. Big fines if you get stuck w/o chains.

If you are near San Fran, come by tonight at 7 pm (Wed) for my Half Dome talk. I have a drawing for a bottle of Carpe Diem wine as long as they keep sending me vats full. The kind folks at the winery support the Carpe Diem Lifestyle. (My life motto) About $26 at BevMo so worth coming.

If you want, you can subscribe to this blog at this WordPress site. This will make sure these gems of wit get delivered each day with your carton of milk. Then you won’t have to manually bookmark it and crank it up each day.

My good friends at Trailslogger’s in downtown Campbell are going out of business. They close the doors on March 20. Discounts of  50% on remaining inventory. Even the fixtures. Stop by.  220 East Campbell Avenue.

Unrelated thought worth quoting: “For the benefit of Mr. Kite, there will be a show tonight on trampoline. The Hendersons will all be there. Late of Pablo Fanques Fair, what a scene!” – The Beatles

      Lanie,
I made the LA circuit to 3 stores when the book came out in 2007. My adobe is in San Jose-by-the-sea, so the hike to SoCal is a bit cost prohibitive. I’d be down in a heartbeat if expenses could be covered. I’ll even sleep on a couch! Don’t laff. A year ago the Boy Scouts in Pasadena covered my trip!
