News

The Big Oak Flat Road near the junction of 140 close to the valley will reopen Saturday morning, January 28, at 8:00 a.m. All is well, keep moving – there’s nothing to see here. Good job Road Crew. But I’d still put on a helmet!

Ah, summer is on the way. I was at Costco and they have the swimsuits, sunscreen and goggles out. YES!  Have you noticed that the days are getting longer. March 11 is daylight savings change over.

Just FYI – Survivor’s next season begins Feb 15. That’s the only show I watch on TV. I’ve seen every episode since the first.

Temps in the high 60’s in the SF Bay area this weekend– get out and hike!

Unrelated thought worth quoting:Wake up, little Susie, wake up. Wake up, little Susie, wake up. We’ve both been sound asleep, wake up, little Susie, and weep. The movie’s over, it’s four o’clock, and we’re in trouble deep. Wake up little Susie.” – The Everly Brothers
