Now that the kiddies are in school and mom is setting the alarm for the wee hours of the morning, the time is right to head to Yosemite. The Half Dome cables are up through the 14th of October and the weather will stay nice for several more weeks.
Summer rates at the park are “pricey” (I hate that phrase). But I’ve been able to arrange special El Cheapo rates for my buddies. <<Actually, I had nothing to do with this. :>)).
Book now and bring a fleece jacket just in case. The leaves will be turning before too long and then the snows fall and then the Half Dome lottery happens and then we hike again!

Unrelated thought worth quoting: This following program is dedicated to the city and people of San Francisco, who may not know it but they are beautiful and so is their city. This is a very personal song, so if the viewer cannot understand it, (particularly those of you who are European residents), save up all your bread and fly TransLove Airways to San Francisco U.S.A. Then maybe you’ll understand the song. It will be worth it; if not for the sake of this song but for the sake of your own peace of mind.” – The Animals
