Very strange sighting above Yosemite’s Half Dome – NPS closed lips

I was at Yosemite this weekend. A great time to  hike. But a bit hot. When I was up near Glacier Point, the most amazing thing happenend.  I clicked the camera for a classic shot. When I got home and looked at my photos today….gander at this!!

I was focusing at the time and did not see it.  There were only a couple of people at the top and  no one else reacted. It must have been moving VERY fast.

I was a non-believer, but I cannot deny what I (almost) saw. To me, UFO’s or Flying Saucers, have always been a myth. I mean do you know how long it would take to get to earth AND back from planets able to sustain life in the Galaxy. There’s only 400 Billion stars there. Like thousands of light-years away. So why bother with us? Plus – thanks to Einstein’s theory of relativity – we know the crew would be much younger than when they left and their “government” would be long dead.

Also, why do they need lights? In interstellar space? And why just make some crop circles, scare some folks in Iowa and fly back. No, I WAS a non-believer.

Early this morning, I called the Security office at the park and spoke to Ranger Abril Phool. She explained that these craft have been spotted before. The NPS suppresses any information but does notify Area 51 for further investigation.  This is scary!

All I can say is….Keep watching the Skies!

Unrelated thought worth quoting: Well I saw the thing comin’ out of the sky,  It had the one long horn, one big eye. I commenced to shakin’ and I said “ooh-eee” – it looks like a purple eater to me.” – Sheb Wooley
